Pleasure Curses - Burn

I was going thru the WAMU website today and stumbled upon this track, not my normal vibe but it made me intrigued enough to check out their soundcloud. Pleasure Curses is a Northern Virginia based Synth pop group, that gives off a slight 80s vibe. If your free you should go check out their event tonight, its at 801 Florida Ave and its free you stingy bastards!

FREE.99 (Event Recap)

So it's been two days since the "Free Ninety Nine" event, and I'm late with posting pictures. However, in my defense, it takes time to recover from such an immaculate turn up. If you missed this gloriously bumpin event presented by yours truly and Dead Art DC, then you must have been loafing to the max. Not to mention, the line up was on point. The collab between Rob Stokes Band and Dope Collective truly served as the kingpin to the night's great energy. Not to mention the fiery performances by the goddess Kelow, the one and only Hippo God of Kool Klux Klan Sir E.U., and the dynamic group CCL$ hailing from Baltimore. Oh, and did I mention that Flash Frequency's set was kick ass too?

Be on the look out for the next Free99 event, you're not going to want to miss out on this.

Pretty late on posting this but fuck it, we post what we want when we want. Peep the visual from the homie Ras Nebyu for 'Lion Talk'. Also make sure to peep Ras performing at Trillectro this summer and sooner at U Street Music hall on August 3rd for his release party. Tickets are free if your above 21, get your tickets here
